![]() It was easy to get a great sound on stage and FOH, which was detailed, and warm with plenty of punch. I played a Nordy vP5 (wearing flats) which the STM900 seems made for. I had two quite different gigs over the weekend which gave me an opportunity to test it with my Berg HT/EX 112’s.The first was a bar gig with around 300 people with an in-house sound engineer. Selectable 3-Position Mid Frequencies: 220, 600, 2.5K HZSubmitted on the 21st October 2013 by Paul who purchased a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 amplifierMany thanks again for recommending the STM900 to me. I have used the kit 2-3 times a week since then and have been very pleased with it. Once he knew what sort of player i was & the music i played he gave me great advice. (Indecision is an expensive ailment!!)I have used/tried practically every top brand over the years and the sound, tonal palate and value for money of these GB amps is unsurpassable.Coupled up with my Vanderkleys 112MNTs both GB amps are absolutely stunning. On balance and after a couple of hours twiddling (as you quite rightly said) I think the flexibility of the Shuttle Max is giving it the edge for my personal taste. The mix of the FET & Tube channels is just phenomenal.Thinking of adding a 210MNT to the arsenal, when I have off loaded a bit more gear. Thanks again for your help and forbearance.Submitted on the 26th June 2013 by Tony who purchased a Genz Benz Streamliner 600 amplifier and Bergantino CN2112 cabinetIts been 3 weeks since i purchased the amp & cab, i was fortunate in that i had Mark & the shop to myself for a couple of hrs on that day. The guitarist and drummer were both raising their eyebrows at how something the size and weight of a laptop could sound so big!I look forward to checking out the Berg CN212!Submitted on the 20th October 2013 by Tony who purchased a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 amplifier and Genz Benz STL Max 9.2 amplifierJust a line to say thanks and how very impressed I am with both amps. I again used my Nordy vP5. I found that I barely needed to run through the PA as the STM900 had plenty in the tank to take it all in its stride without ever being boomy or flabby – absolutely wonderful. Genz Benz Amplifier Update On TheI’ve used it at home (it’s become my practice rig!), live accompanying an acoustic guitar, and at rehearsal with acoustic / drums. Happy chappy in B90! :-)Submitted on the 11th March 2013 by Paul who purchased a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 amplifier and Bergantino HD112 cabinetsI thought I should give you an update on the STM900 / HD112 combination I bought from you a few weeks ago. Thanks for sorting me out with the cab Mark and thanks for your invaluable assistance. Easily the best cab I've ever heard or played through. ![]() Genz Benz Amplifier Full 600 WattsI was able to hear every note, crisp and clear above the drummer and a loud guitarist without pushing it too hard. Another Genz cab will follow shortly to max the full 600 watts.I added a spare 15 inch cab I already had because I knew I needed volume to spare and played it last night at a gig with a drummer who was partially deaf and didn't hold back at all with power. Absolutely brilliant.Submitted on the 4th November 2012 by Michael who purchased a Genz Benz 600 Streamliner amplifier and Genz Benz Focus LT210 cabinetI parted company with my 500 watt Ampeg setup and went with the 600 Genz Benz Streamliner and one 210 Focus cab to start with. Powerpoint 2019 free downloadA worthwhile and inspiring (if costly) visit.Submitted on the 9th October 2012 by Jason who purchased a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 amplifier and 2 x Vanderkley MNT112 cabinetsI’ve been meaning to write but not got around to it until now….Just to say I am delighted with the rig I bought from you in September (Genz Benz Streamliner 900 and 2 x Vanderkley 112MNT). My Alembic always sounded good through the old SWRs but now has a new lease of life with such an improved sound!Coming to see Mark has opened my eyes and ears to how much things have changed from my goliath days. The clarity, the tone, the responsiveness and the portability. I usually need a compressor to flatten the sound but with the streamliner I set everything flat plugged in and played all night, the only tweaking was from curiosity to see what else it could do but the sound I like for finger funk was perfect from the off.Submitted on the 23rd October 2012 by Steve who purchased a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 amplifier and 1 x Vanderkley MNT112 and 1 x MNT210 cabinetsFirstly a big thank you Mark for his advise and absolute refreshing view to promoting modern & cutting edge bass gear.I had my first full gig with my Genz Benz and Vanderkleys last weekend and the difference was amazing. The sound from the streamliner is different but in a really good way, its much more rounded and the balance across the strings is much better or flatter compared to the Mesa which in the mix sounds fantastic. As always, very helpful.Submitted on the 28th October 2012 by Tim who purchased a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 amplifier and Bergantino HD112 cabinetsTried the Streamliner the other night at rehearsal and was nothing short of amazing, I was worried it wouldn’t cut the mustard against the tone from my Mesa Walkabout but it did with ease.
